El Museo del Barrio is having a show of seventy-five contemporary Latin American and Caribbean artists from the New York area. Curated by el Barrio's Elvis Fuentes, Rocío Aranda-Alvarado, and Trinidad Fombella along with guest curator Juanita Bermúdez, the exhibition investigates the relationship between the art and the culture of the urban street and how this dynamic interaction brings about changes in mainstream culture.
